IncludeA man passed away that I’d seen at my gym for years. I’m not certain what happened exactly, but it was sudden. That said, I would have smiled at him more frequently. Said something more than hello, maybe took the time to find out if he liked eggplant parmesan – or some other unknown fact I didn’t know. What I do know is that this reflection gives me a keenness to explore. To welcome someone else’s story, to include more people in my life. I can’t help but ask myself how many more words of joy and encouragement can be offered? How many people can be lifted? I reckon many.
