The Reciprocity of Generosity 1

giving Sunday morning brings a quiet gratitude for reflecting on nice people. We usually put a price tag on the word generous or generosity, as our culture illustrates to us in ads for gifts of jewels and baubles. Being generous is about giving. Anything. Your time, your smile, your ear to listen. Maybe it is offering a cup of tea and a biscuit to someone who just needs to sit for a while.

Looking at a broader and deeper meaning of generosity, we can extend more of it in subtle or not so subtle ways to anyone we encounter. The more we give the more we get. Here is what I have found the Law of Generosity law to demonstrate — it is not up to us to determine who is generous in return and when. The reciprocity of generosity is up to the Universe to deliver.  It will. Usually not in the timeframe our ego conjure and document in support of its entitlement and that is more than OK.

So, think of it like this. Perhaps, the generosity that you are showing today is the return of generosity to someone that gave it a year ago.

Be generous with your generosity. Namaste 🙂
